Making Magic
Thank you for your interest to volunteer at The Sensual Sanctuary!
It is because of volunteers like you that help us make magic that we can provide safer spaces for sensual exploration. Our events typically draw those who are looking to be a part of a sexually liberated community. Many of our members have had experiences with sexual assault and/or are demisexual, meaning that they might not enjoy sexual experiences unless they have developed a connection. Definition of demisexual [a person who experiences sexual feelings and attraction only after developing a close emotional relationship and not on the basis of first impressions, physical characteristics, etc. ].

Volunteer Expectations
We expect our volunteers to carry themselves professionally while helping to facilitate events. Please remember that you are an important part of creating a safe space for others who might not feel safe psychologically or emotionally while playing sexually. Your presence is of importance beyond belief. That is why we do not want volunteers playing at the events that they are facilitating. This boundary helps protect the integrity of the safe spaces we aim to create.
Current Expectations
Please do not play at events that you are taking on responsibilities.
Please carry yourself professionally [be on time, communicate transparently, ask questions, take notes, model community expectations, be respectful of others].
If you see something that raises an internal alarm, say something or ask someone about it.
