I have been dreaming of dancing to some disco vibrations, and I am looking forward to our Valentines Day soiree, where you can expect some games during social hour, a performance, and of course, play time. Here is a more detailed look at the evening.

Parking:
There is free street parking after 6p in our area, and we have some parking in front. I would suggest giving yourself 20-30 minutes to find a spot, but if you don’t see an open spot, there are a few lots nearby as well. Many people have success with street parking or park near Smart & Final or Grocery Outlet and walk over. If you need to let us know you are walking over, please text 619.354.7977, so we can make sure you get safely in. Please reference your ticket name, so we know who to expect. Once the doorman has gone inside, our doors are closed for the evening.

What to Expect:
We will have a friendly face at the door to greet you and show you up to Club Safe Word. Please have your ticket for us to scan. You can find it by searching for “TicketLeap.” Please be prepared to show your ID at the door.
When you come in, you’ll get a tour of the space and get any additional information for our playspace; Sensual Sanctuary Parties have different cultural expectations aimed towards helping everyone feel safe while exploring [see below]. You’ll also be shown where you can stow any belongings that you don’t want to carry with you.
You are encouraged to bring the following: (1) 1970s Fashion Game, (2) money for tipping, (3) a change of clothes/shoes, (4) preferred toys, lube, etc., (5) preferred spirits/mixers. At this point, you’ll be shown the play space and our kitchen/bar. You can check in your liquor/spirits here with our barkeeps, Russ & Rebekah, who are here to ensure safety first and foremost. We do provide some mixers, but if you have a favorite, feel free to bring it along and check it in at bar. You will give you a number to use during your night with us for retrieving your drinks.
A conversation starter and social games will be going on until doors close at 10:30p. There will be a couple raffle prizes for the evening and the proceeds help support our volunteer staff and a game [see Social Hour Information below]. You must be present prior to 10:30p to stay for the erotic performance and open play. We will have our consent discussion, and play our erotic gift exchange before our erotic performance that will start around 11p. From then on, you can play until we begin to wind down our visit to the 1970s and say goodnight at 2a.
During this last half hour, we ask guests to begin winding down, so staff can send you off with hugs and blessings as you exit at 3a. If you have any liquor that is unopened, you can check it out, but as per California State Law, we are not permitted to allow open bottles to leave the venue once opened. We will also have herbal tea available should you wish to wind down before departing for some deep sleep.

Bring your 1970s fashion game! Whether you prefer Disco style or something more in line with peace and love, we are excited to see what looks you conjure up for us.

Do your best to be aware of and respect any boundaries put in place, this goes for physical, energetic, and emotional boundaries of others, the venue, hosts, guardians, and to you, yourself.

Nudity: We love nudity, but please respect that common areas are safe spaces. This means that if you are -not- in a scene, please wear clothes or a robe, as per the venue dress code. Note: There is no nudity permitted in the dining/bar common area for health code safety.

I wrote “Disco Dolly” as I was beginning to get my Adult Entertainer License and to strip in clubs. It was meant to reimagine the image of the “stripper” and the greater purpose she serves in this world.
I also include my Disco Dolly set list that transitioned us from our assorted 70’s vibrations that began our social hour through to the Disco signature musical style that hypnotized the world through the 70s and influenced the 80’s musical vibrations that would be born next.
